This page explains, in plain terms, what CLICKBASE PC CLUB does with the details you share when you book a station or email us. We keep it short because we keep the data short — precision applies to what we collect, too.

The short version

We take the name, email and booking choices you type into the form, we use them to hold your seat and confirm it, and we clear the record once your visit has passed. We do not sell your details, we run no advertising trackers, and we do not ask for a phone number or payment card through this website. If that answers your question, the sections below are just the detail.

What we collect

When you use the booking form we record the name and email you type, the date you pick, the room and the block you choose, and any note you add. That is the whole list. When you email [email protected] we hold whatever is in your message and your email address so we can reply. When you walk in and pay at the desk, our point-of-sale keeps a routine transaction record — the amount and time — but not a profile of you.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for your date of birth, address, phone number or card number on this site. The booking form takes no payment; you settle at the desk when you arrive. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other websites. There is no account to create, so there is no password of yours for us to hold or lose.

Why we hold it

We use your details for one thing: running your booking. That means holding the seat you asked for, sending you a confirmation, and reaching you by email if a plan changes — a room swap, a closure, a follow-up on lost property. We may keep a light record of repeat no-shows so the desk can manage seats fairly. That is the full extent of it.

Who can see it

Only the crew on shift and the person who runs the club see booking details, and only to do their job. We use a standard email provider to send and receive mail and a booking tool to manage the seat sheet; those providers process data on our behalf under their own security terms and do not get the right to use your details for anything else. We do not pass your information to marketers, data brokers or unrelated third parties.

How long we keep it

Booking records are cleared on a rolling basis once your visit has passed — we do not keep a permanent guest list. Email threads are kept only as long as they are useful for support and are pruned periodically. Ask us any time and we will delete your details sooner, unless we are required to keep a basic transaction record for tax or accounting reasons.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no tracking cookies and loads no third-party analytics or advertising pixels. Web fonts load from Google Fonts so the page renders as designed, which involves a request to Google's servers. Full detail lives in our Cookie Policy.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to booking records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, so we keep the amount of data small on purpose — the less we hold, the less there is to protect. If something ever went wrong that put your details at risk, we would act on it and, where the law requires, tell you and the regulator.

Children

CLICKBASE is a general-audience venue and the booking form is meant for adults arranging a session. We do not knowingly collect details from young children through this site. If a parent or guarantor is booking on behalf of a minor, please use your own contact details.

Your rights under Australian law

CLICKBASE PC CLUB operates in Australia, so your personal information is handled under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you and to have it corrected. If you believe we have mishandled it, raise it with us first; if you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC, oaic.gov.au). To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will reply from the desk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data we will update this page and move the date at the top. The current version is always the one you are reading here. Questions are welcome — a short email gets a straight answer.
